Passion for life

It’s been a long time since I last posted. I’ve been off having another dose of spiritual growth. I read somewhere once, that in the quest of conquering oneself we will struggle and climb up that mountain and when we finally reach the summit we realise that within us there is another mountain to climb. I guess it becomes a case of realising just how much we don’t know, which becomes the first real step away from ignorance.

During the last few months I became rather confused about who am I really and what is my purpose in life. I felt as if I had lost my passion for life, but more than that I felt scared that I didn’t really know what my passion in life is. I needed a new direction and a new ambition. I spent so much time trying to figure out where I belonged and what am I supposed to be doing with my life.

So I sat down every night and I focused my mind on meditation. I didn’t know what I hoped to achieve in my meditations but I did know that I needed some solitude and space from my life and my mind. One night recently, I felt myself begin to have a conversation with a force far greater than me. Was it God or an angel, I don’t know. But it was a voice of peace and love and it said to me “Listen to your breathing”, so I did, and then it said “Without you even knowing it, your body is drawing in air so that it can continue living. You have such a great passion for being alive that you are always doing whatever you need to do so that you can stay alive.”

I never looked at breathing in that way before. I never looked at the beauty of life in that way before. The mastery in our design is that our initial response to life to be so passionate about it that we will do whatever it takes to keep living. In that moment I accepted one truth, which is that I am passionate about being alive.
Then I become bombarded with a great pull of gratitude towards every breath of air that I take and every sip of water and every morsel of food. Being alive, to me, became the miracle of having passion in my life. This made me think even more about having a passion for something.
We always see around us that people that do what they are passionate about become fairly successful. They sometimes build empires about ideas or they change the way the world functions and thinks just by materializing their passion in life. Sometimes it’s just people that are fully content with their lives as it is. It doesn’t matter where they come from or where they go from here, all that matters is being true to who they are.
So being true to who you are is living out your passion in life which will then translate into miracles.
Figuring out what out passion is, helps us to figure out what our purpose in life is. Once we do that, then all the battles in life fades away and we are left with a life of quality and joy, which translates into a life based in love.

I noticed that people that live their life based on what they feel is their purpose and what they feel passionate about are always in a state of joy and abundance. It’s almost as if it’s some secret cheat code in the universe. If we focus all our effort and energy on doing what makes us feel most “at home” then there is no space for worry because the universe will provide for us. You will have all that you need and so much more.

The mission is to figure out what is our passion and what is our purpose. Where is it that we have to be to feel home. I have been contemplating my own purpose and passion (other than my passion for being alive) for the last month. Some people just know what drives them in life and other people (like me) need to figure it out. My most important goal at this point is to figure out what is my purpose in life so that I can pour all my passion into it.

Along the way, so far, I made a very important discovery.

Just being is enough to help me following the guidance of life. Which means, when I stop worrying about where my career is heading, and whether or not I’m ready for a new relationship, or if I have made the wrong decisions, and just be here in this moment, I become guided to take the next step. Before my foot reaches the ground, I have no idea where it will take me but I trust that it is always going to be in the right direction for me. I allow myself to go with the flow because I know that I am being guided by a source and a force greater than myself.

For now my passion for being alive is enough for me.
I know, beyond a reasonable doubt, that I will figure out what my true purpose in life is, how about you?

Balance

Hi people of the light,

Our ego sometimes wants such great things, such as being a millionaire, or a famous actor, or an internationally acclaimed author. These are amazing things to aspire towards in life, because having ambitions gives a sense of purpose to our lives. But then we also have to account for what our spirit wants. There lies the great imbalance of life that many of us suffer from. If you are lucky enough to be doing things that make you happy while working towards achieving your dreams then you are serving your divine life purpose.

Our ego almost always competes with our spirit for what it wants, and it almost always wins this internal tug-of-war. It’s sort of a weird place to be in because we get caught big dreams that we believe we have the ability to achieve it. And it is true, every person has the ability to achieve their biggest dreams; no one should ever dream small, especially when these dreams incorporate our talents and the activities that make us feel good. But if the ego is too much in control then sometimes these talents and activities that used to bring us so much happiness, can start to feel like a burden. It can make one feel frustrated and tired before we even start. This is why balance is always important.

Balancing our love for doing something against doing something to achieve a gain is difficult because the ego loves to run away with an idea. Say you always wanted to write a book and finally you have a brilliant idea for a book but once you start working on it you start thinking of how much money you can make of the book or how famous you will become once the book is published, and then dreaming about these amazing benefits becomes more exciting that actually working on the book. This is where the ego sets in. It’s not a bad thing to want to write a famous novel, but it does become a lower energy activity when you concentrate on what you can get in the future from doing something and you lose track of what you can get now from doing something that you love doing.

Some people will judge me for this, and think that I am putting down the want to achieve something, making it seem less than it is. I am not. All I am saying is that being far sighted about something can mean that you can’t see what’s right in front of you.

Remember the joy and love that you get from doing that thing that you always loved doing? Please don’t stop doing it.

I made that mistake, I forget the reason I did things and I got so caught up in all these future events that could make me happy that I stopped being happy today. I lost the joy I received from doing things, because the end result was so much more than today’s small happy moments. And the things that I loved to do started to feel like work, and whenever something feels like work, it stops being fun. My aunt always says that she’s the happiest while she is doing her job because her job became her hobby. It is true that she has been very successful at her job, in fact she could have been even more successful materially in terms of being promoted and receiving higher financial gains, but she refused to move from where she is because she loves being where she is.

The trick is to do what you love and success will follow. People have been saying this all throughout history, but I guess we can only listen to it when we are ready to let go of our egos’ desires and give more emphasis on doing the things that we enjoy doing.

Small Pleasures

Dear people of the light,

I want to talk to you about the power of doing things that you love to do.

In this busy world, Many of seem to be so focused on doing things out of necessity and not out of joy. It's a shame really, we only have this life to enjoy, so why waste it. Have you ever watched a movie or read a book about someone that just has a zest for life. How did it make you feel? My guess is AWESOME! I know I enjoy watching someone really and truly enjoy life. It inspires me to want to be more like that person, but who has the time for it these days?

When I was in my third year of studying I put so much energy into studying and passing that I really truly looked horrible and not for lack of trying. For some reason my skin always looked bad, my hair looked limp and dead and no matter how hard I tried I could never put together a cute outfit. I didn't have time to go out and hang out. I didn't have time for that movie that I really wanted to watch or to even find out what was Rihanna's latest single. And you know what I didn't even do well at my studying, because I was so stressed out that I was consistently at a low level of concentration. I couldn't completely focus on anything because I had so many things to focus on. Before I knew it, the year passed by as one big blur and I woke one morning feeling dead inside.

Why did I put myself through so much stress and why did I allow myself to not be the person I know that I am? Why did I stop the flow of happiness into my life? I guess I would say that I had a goal and I would have stopped at nothing to achieve it. I wanted to succeed at my studies more than I wanted happiness. The truth is that I am not the only one that went through something like that, nor will I ever be last person to feel this way. Maybe your goal is to become a fantastic singer or big movie star? Maybe you want to get rich or maybe you want to win a gold medal, or to be the world's best wife and mother? We all have ambitions. There really is nothing wrong in wanting to achieve something.

But the real thing is, what is the cost of achieving these goals or dreams? For me the cost was my happiness. I had forgotten that life is the journey not the destination. In fact those words had no meaning to me at all. I mean who cares about the journey once you've reached the destination?

Well now those words are extremely important to me. Arriving at my goals is not worth losing myself along the way. When I get to my goals in life I want to get there whole and in one complete piece. In fact I believe that if we allow the happiness of the journey into our lives, it makes the destiny even more joyful.

Besides, what is the point in placing all our happiness into achieving one or two goals? Say you goals in life is to become financially secure and to get into a relationship so that you can one day get married. Nothing wrong with those ambitions. But these two things are some future event, you will get there one day, but today is not that day. Why can't we be happy with today as well as tomorrow? And just because we stop to smell the roses along the pathway doesn't mean that we won't reach the house.

I, for one, have decided that I will fill my life up with doing things that give me happiness. People say prioritize and decide which is more important. Going out with friends won't help you pass the exam you have been stressing for, but it will ease the stress, help you to relax, bring some happiness and laughter into your life that will help you focus on that chapter that you can't seem to understand, which will then help you pass that exam better than you could have if you spent the night reading and rereading words that you couldn't completely focus on. So yes I agree, prioritize achieving your goals, but also don't neglect the things that bring small amounts of joy into you life.

Do the 5 year test. Close your eyes and picture yourself in 5 years from now (if your goal will take you longer than 5 years to achieve then try 10 years). See the person you are, not just the achievements that you have but also your personality and your lifestyle. Are you happy with the person that you will be? Are you surrounded by people and things that bring you happiness? Now that you have achieved your current goals, are there new goals that you must achieve in order for you to be happy?

I want to end this post off by saying that once we achieve a goal, the happiness of that moment won't last forever. Life is continuously moving forward and therefore the happiness of one moment will fade away. Many of us make the mistake of assuming that if we just achieve this or that then we will be happy, but the truth is that once these things are achieved will need a new thing to make us happy and to drive us forward. This is why I have chosen to fill my life up with as many things as possible that will make me happy now. Writing this blog for example, makes me very happy. I take small pleasures from various things every single day. I don't want to become that single-minded, unhappy person again. In fact, I achieved my goal twice over since I adopted this new attitude towards life.

My own company

Dear people of the Light,

Thanks to my friend +Arlene Caissie  I realized that I have yet to tell you about a realization that occurred to me last year.

Last year, I realized that there was so much more going inside than I could ever imagine. Sometimes, I guess that we don't see just how much we jeopardize ourselves. It takes some hard looking to see the kind of world that we create for ourselves. Sometimes it's things that we consider harmless and even normal that can create the most destruction.

I am talking about the use of social media, off course. Don't get me wrong, social media has provided a wealth of information and a means to voice our opinions, to reduce the distance between ourselves and the world at large. We can stay in contact with old school friends and we can make new friends... When we look at the downside of social media connections we usually look at cases of violence that are inflicted upon those of us that make the wrong choices when trusting strangers on the internet. That is a big concern, no doubt, but there is something else, that brings to mind the story of the wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. This is dependence we have on communicating via social media.

I realized that I spent every free moment of my day chatting to people, or looking at statuses, etc, and in the process I left very little time for me to spend time with me. I wanted to be entertained by others, I wanted to spend time with others, I didn't want to spend time with myself. There I saw the lack that I was facing in my life. I didn't enjoy my own company, so then how could I expect others to enjoy my company. I was looking for external parties to make me feel valued, and wanted.

Instead of relaxing and just being I was looking for someone to have contact with. I became dependent on social media to provide that contact. Then I discovered something that I had noticed before but never paid attention to it. I am sure many of you will have made this discovery too. When I have time to chat to people, there is no one around to chat to me, but when I have no time to chat, then its like everyone wants to chat to me. I used to think this must be Murphy's Law, but now that I think of it, its something bigger than Murphy and his Law.

When I am whole and present with myself. When I take the time to be with me, and to get to know me, I become fuller and more stable. I am lighter and happier. In these moments, my lack in replaced by a feeling of abundance. I don't need anyone else to provide me with the sense of belonging, or to give me company. I am enough on my own. Don't get me wrong, we all require social interaction because no man is an island, but we also deserve to be happy in our own presence. And it is in these moments that we attract others into our lives.

I only discovered this sense of fulfillment when I deleted some of my social medias and I silenced the notifications on others. I stopped giving the external world more importance than my internal world. I became in charge of who I speak to and when. My supervisor once told me that the ringing off the phone is saying stop what you are doing because I am more important, which is why she ignores the phone when she is busy. This really stuck with me. She taught me many important things but this has to be one of the greatest lessons that she gave me, and I doubt she even realized it. Off course, there are phone calls and messages that carry important messages, but we need to be able to sift them out. We need to remember that we are more important that messages and media, we should ourselves first, then worry about the rest. Charity begins at home and you can't get any more closer to home than within yourself. Just remember, airline hosts say that in case of a drop in air pressure, put your own oxygen mask on then assist others. Same concept.

Numerology

Hi there people of the light,

You know recently I have been having trouble figuring out just what to write about. I have so many things that I want to say and no idea how to say. So I decided that perhaps I should write about something that is actually happening to me. I didn’t want to post about it because I don’t quite understand it, but here goes nothing.

I recently started noticing number patterns. When I began seeing the same number repeatedly, I started to take note. What do these numbers mean and is it just a coincidence that I see them so often?

It all started when I began to read about numerology. It’s fascinating stuff. Numbers can coordinate with names, birthdays and the actual date. Using these numbers we can predict what is going to happen to us and when. So here is how you calculate your name numerology.

On the above table we have the numbers 1 to 9 and underneath it we have the alphabet. So you would use the corresponding numbers with the letters in your name. I’m going to use my name to illustrate this.

AMRISHA= 1+4+9+9+1+8+1= 35= 3+5= 6
SARAH= 1+1+9+1+8= 20= 2+0= 2
RAMLAKHAN= 9+1+4+3+1+2+8+1+5= 34= 3+4= 7
Then: 6+2+7= 15= 1+5= 6

Calculating the birth number is a lot less complicated. Again, I am going to use my own details as an example, so:
2 July 1989= 2+7+1+9+8+9= 18= 1+8= 9

In the same way we can calculate the year number to be 7, and then if you want to find out what a particular month can bring for you then all you have to do is add the month number to the year number, if it’s a double digit you have to split into its components and add until you get a single number.
For this month, the number would be 3+7= 10= 1+0= 1.
You can even work it down to a day by adding in the day to the calculation like so: 14=1+4=5 +3+7= 15=1+5= 6, now 6 added to your personal birthday number will give you a personal prediction.

Not so complicated then?

But in my experience, numbers are a lot more than what I have above. You see, calculating them is one thing but really when you start to notice patterns in your life then you should really pay attention. Seeing the same number or sets of numbers is not a coincidence. It like if you look up at the clock and the time is 11:11 or 22:22 or even something like 20:02... Maybe when you are driving somewhere you notice these numbers in number plates, like 111 or even 66.

Sometimes an angel will whisper in your ear, maybe only your subconscious will hear it, and you will look in some direction and notice a seemingly random number. This has been happening a lot to be. All my life in fact, I always thought it was cool to see these numbers, but I never really thought about it until recently. Then I started trying to ignore the numbers, but it just wouldn’t go away. So I decided to figure this out, since I was learning a little about numerology, perhaps there was something more to it, perhaps there was a message in there for me.

Now I know I am not the only one going through this. It stems from a divine movement that is causing an awaking in individuals all around the world. I can’t see the big plan but I have faith that there is a great divine reason behind it.

So let me explain what these numbers mean. To see a number pattern will tell you of the intensity of the message. If you see 222 then it is 2 with triple the power and intensity, it means that 2 is very important in this moment. Likewise we can also break it down and it becomes 2+2+2=6. Then the power will resonate with meaning of 6. It is personal, so if you want to take it as a triple power or you want to break it down; it is entirely up to you. I usually go with my gut feeling, so I might break it down or I take it as it is.

Below is what I understand each number to mean:
0
Latent potential. It is also considered to be the God number, which resonates with the power of God. It also presents the future and of things coming full circle meaning that things will return to the manner from which it began. Seeing a 0 in a number pattern is especially powerful because in that moment it means that God is with you and is encouraging you to pay attention. You are powerful and it is safe for you to be powerful. Some patterns can be see as 000 or 00, 00:00 or in patterns such as 10:01 or 7000.

Wholeness and unity. This number is usually associated with an individual body, usually your own body. It talks about all things physical but it can also mean that you must take time in understanding yourself. Look at the things you desire and the things that you think about, because seeing the number 1 means that these thoughts and feelings are materializing. A good practice would be to stop and think of something that you want to happen or to have. It also gives strength to your desires, as heaven is showing you that it is with you. It also shows you that you are on the path of your divine life purpose. Usually we see 1 in patterns such as 11, 111, 11:11 or 10:01, 11:01, 11:10, 01:11 etc...

Relationships and duality. If you are thinking about things to do with relationships or you want to be in a new relationship or to fix an old or current relationship then seeing the number 2 is a sign that heaven is helping you. It also asks you to become more caring and to perhaps show empathy. You make also need to pay attention to your emotions in the moment and to trust your intuition. Number 2 number patterns are the same as the ones above.

Creation and resolution. To see the number 3 is a sign that whatever it is that you want is coming into materialization. It asks that you have clear and precise thoughts of things that you desire. Also if you are going through a difficult decision phase, it shows than heaven is also helping you to make that decision. Off course heaven cannot make a decision for you because we all have freedom of choice but heaven can help you by supporting your decisions and by showing you where your decisions might take you. It is also good to see the number 3 with the number 1 because it shows that your decision is in line with your divine light purpose. Number 3 number patterns are the same as the ones above.
4
Wholeness and stability. When seeing the number 4 you are being encouraged to have discipline in your actions to obtain your goals. Number 4 reminds us to be striving with determination and it gives us a sense of empowerment. If you are seeing number 4 patterns then the angels are either acknowledging your hard work and determination or they are advising you to put more effort into the goals you are trying to achieve. Number 4 number patterns are the same as the ones above.
5
The number 5 speaks of a life change that you are undergoing. Heaven is with you during this life change and know that it is safe and important to change and adapt to life. The number 5 also promotes human creativity, so if you are an artist of some sort then the angels are applauding your originality and creativity, but if you are feeling stifled and stuck in life, then the angels may be asking you to spend some time being creative. Creativity works wonders for the soul and perhaps your soul wants some time to be free, so listen to some music or paint a picture, whatever it is that you like to do; the angels are asking you to do it. Creativity and change has a way of bringing in new positive energy into our lives and our space. Number 5 number patterns are the same as the ones above.

Harmony and balance. Contrary to what many believe the number 6 is the number associated with pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. It is associated with being in touch with your sixth sense, so you should pay attention to your intuition and your spirituality. Seeing 666 is actually not an omen but a reminder that you are spending too much time focusing on material things and you are ignoring your spiritual side. The number 6 wants us to focus on being balanced, so that we spend equal parts of time focused on the material world and on the spiritual world. It may sometimes denote that your material needs are coming into your life and you need to be patient and wait to receive. Number 6 number patterns are the same as the ones above.
7
The number 7 asks us to spend more time in mediation and in deep thought. We are asked by heaven to spend time contemplating spiritual awareness and to focus on the spiritual gifts we may be receiving. These spiritual gifts might be clairvoyance (the ability to see into the spiritual world through images and pictures), clairaudience (the ability to hear the spiritual world through words and thoughts, sometimes voices) and clairsentience (the ability to feel the spiritual world through feelings and sensations). The number 7 is a guide into the spiritual realm and it can be scary to a new comer, but trust that the angels and God is with you.

Material success and justice. Number 8 is associated with networks and holding groups and organizations together. If you are seeing number 8 patterns you are asked to pay attention to the people that you network with and the people that you interact with. These people can help you to gain material success in some way or the other. Think of who these people or this person might be and make contact. Also if you have suffered an injustice in life, then this may be a message to say that justice is coming through to you. It may be telling you that heaven has not forgotten your struggle and that it is helping you to heal and emerge the victor of the situation.

Achieving results. Number 9 is a very powerful number. It promotes truth and law and is a helping number to achieve the results that you are looking for. If you have been working hard at something, the number 9 is telling you that you achieve what you set out to do. It is telling you that heaven is backing you up and that you are on the right divine life path.

There are many other meaning to these numbers and number patterns out there on the internet. I encourage you to look for them because they may help you to truly understand what you are going through and to come to terms with whatever life change you are experiencing at this moment. I am still trying to make sense of this in my life, but I hope I have helped you to make sense of what you are experiencing.

No, you are not going crazy and no, no matter how badly you want it to be, it is not a coincidence that you see these numbers. Yes, you can use numerology to try to predict your future using the above numbers as a guideline. I also, encourage that you find out what the numbers mean to you on a personal level. This will help you to develop a more personalized future prediction.

Personal Karma

Hello People of the light,

Today I have decided to talk about Personal Karma.

As we all know karma is a word used widely in this day and age. It has its roots from the Hindu religion. The basic understanding of karma is what goes around comes around. Karma however, can be broken down into various forms of karma. But the most popular forms of karma are personal karma and collective karma.

We can all agree that every person creates their own karma. Some believe that we carry forward our karma from past lives to pay them of in this life. Others believe that we create our own karma in this life and pay for it here. Some believe in a mixture of the carrying forward past karma and paying for that plus karma from this life.

Many Hindu’s believe that if we suffer in this life we are paying off out karmic debt and in the next life we will be blessed to live a happy and peaceful life. Others believe that if we pay off our Karmic debt we will obtain salvation and therefore we will not be reborn into this material world again. I believe that our Karmic debt only extends to this life, but this really is my personal choice, for all I know, I may be wrong.

Also you don’t have to be a Hindu or a Buddhist to believe in the forces of karma. Many religions out there also speak of karma when they say that a person always gets more back than they give. In fact, I always view Christmas as being a season of creating good personal karma.

However, karma, in my opinion, also links up with The Law of Attraction. You see karma comes from taking action. The things we do and the things we act upon will create energy which builds momentum in the universe which then brings to us the things that we want. So essentially karma is so much more than “what goes around comes around”.

So picture this, you throw a pebble in the centre of a pond which creates ripples that expands over the whole pond, which then bounces off the pond walls and moves in a wave back to the pond centre. The karmic action is the action of throwing the pebble, which represents you and everything that you do. The ripple moving out is the universe taking note of the action. The ripples that come back are the Law of Attraction bringing back the energy of what you want.

The personal karmic action can be filled with negativity or it can be filled with positivity. So the energy that you put in will bring back the same energy. Whether you like the results or not will then become a choice. If you like the results then throw another pebble. If you don’t like the results then revaluate the pebble you are throwing before you throw again or risk being an insane person that repeats the same action while expecting a different result. Also, notice that one small pebble created many ripples, meaning that one small action will come back to you tenfold.

Many spiritual teachers advise us to behave positively for this very reason. The picture now seems bigger than we originally thought it was. It’s not just about how often we pray or how much charity we do, it becomes about being loving and happy in everything that we do. I mean we have all seen those chain emails or online comic strips about a person that prays and does charity but they don’t carry that through with other parts of their lives. We call them hypocrites, but there’s no need for that because their own karma is out of balance.

I can explain this by expanding the pebble and pond example. Imagine many big fat ugly stones being throw into the same spot in the pond. It will create big rippling waves. Then we try to balance it out by throwing a few small pretty pebbles in various places of the pond. The large waves more than cancel out the small ripples. The end result will still be negative chaos.  
In essences the spiritual teachers of the world are telling us to extend our positivity towards every aspect of our lives so that our good karma does not get cancelled out by bad karma. Likewise positive karma can also cancel out negative karma.

Lastly, I wanted to point out that positive karma and the Law of Attraction also shows us something even more philosophical. Positivity towards something that has nothing to do with you is just as effective as doing something positive for you. Like being happy for someone, celebrating the success of others, and giving unconditional love, can bring the happiness, success and unconditional love to us. Likewise if we are jealous of others success or happiness, or we place limitations on the love we give to others, we will receive the same in our own lives.

There is a lot of reflection that exists in karma and the Law of Attraction. Take a look at your life. How do you truly feel about the majority of people in your life? How does the world see you? Revalue your karmic actions and make the Law of Attraction work for you the way you want it to.

“... You think without acting...”

Ola Blessed friends of light

Once again I want to state that this blog post is dedicated to Lava, who is the amazing friend that supplied me with a quote that gave my mind something to chew on.

In case you haven’t read the previous post, here’s the quote that inspired this post: “Most of the problems in your life are due to two reasons: you act without thinking or you think without acting”. (I really must find out who said this.)

“... You think without acting...”

Like I mentioned yesterday, today I will be discussing the second part of this quote... Thinking without acting.
Okay, so this actually is the worse of the two, which some may find hard to believe. But any person that has an understanding of the power of thought will know why it is worse to think without taking action.
When we think, we supply our body with a vibration, this vibration then acts like a lighthouse... So I am going to call this process The Lighthouse Effect. Now the reason I say lighthouse is because, your thought vibration shines out and signals out to the universe to bring you “things” that are operating in the same vibration.

We all know that the Law of Attraction states that like attracts like and that we need to vibrate in synchronization with the “things” that we want. Basically all our thoughts enable the universe to bring to us anything that promotes us to repeat these thoughts, because the universe truly believes that the things we think about are the things we want. So you think orange and your lighthouse vibrates with the orange energy needed and the universe picks up all the orange things that you want. But these orange things can’t find you until you turn the lighthouse on and show the universe where to find you...

So what does this have to do with thinking without acting?

When we think we supply the necessary vibration but when we act we show intention, which makes it easier for the universe to help us. We all know that “God helps those that help themselves”. It’s the same thing really. By intending to help yourself, you allow God to help you. I always think of the joke about the man that wanted to win the lottery but never bought a ticket... Buying the ticket was the action to prove the intension that allows the universe to help.

So you can think and think and think all you want, but unless you actually do something about it, you will be metaphorically spinning around in the same spot. Many people say that The Secret doesn’t work, and this is the reason it doesn’t work for them. They don’t take action. Thinking about what you want is only half the distance, acting to get what you want is the other half. And don’t stress and worry that your action is not the right action, because that really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you do something.

But there is another issue with thinking without acting. Sometimes we think so much about something that we allow it to infect our lives.

When we stress and worry, or we become anxious, or we think about something that hurt us in the past, we start to hurt ourselves. I know I used to think about how I should have reacted in a situation so much that it would become all that I thought about. I would replay situations and outcomes in my head, like a movie director trying to get the best shot. But life is not a movie and there are no retakes. Sometimes we just have to accept the way things pan out, because thinking about what ifs and should haves is detrimental to our well being.

We don’t even realise the amount of distress our negative, unhappy thoughts puts our bodies through. Every thought creates an energy that is held in every cell of the body. Negative thoughts then manifest themselves through our bodies. We end up with health problems, which are sometimes fatal. That’s why it’s important to distress and let go of the past and move forward. Positive thoughts can do wonders for the body. When we think happy, loving and peaceful thoughts, the cells in our bodies hold on to that energy and then it manifests good health and healthy looking skin and hair. It is literally becoming beautiful from the outside in.

So now we know why it is important to not think without acting and why it is important to not hold on to negative thoughts.
